News It is proposed we will be running a bonus ball which will start on 08/10/11. The bonus ball will run for a total of 20 weeks (cost being £20.00 ie £1.00 for each week). This will be based on the main draw which will take place on the Saturday evenings with the bonus ball drawn out collecting £20.00 each week, during the 20 week period. Details of numbers allocated together with prize winners etc will be circulated in club programme, news letters and website throughout the season. Representatives from adult/youth teams will approach all the teams in the next few weeks seeking names of persons who would like a bonus ball. Towns reserve side who are in Div two of the competition have been given a bye in the first round and as such there first game in this competition will be a semi- final game. Both of the above games are expected to be played at the end of the season. It is proposed Town will hold a quiz night in the sports bar at the Selex Club on Friday 16 March 2012 starting at 8.00pm This is an event for adult and youth teams( Teams to consist of no more than six persons ) Cost being £2.00 per person It is hoped that players, parents, friends and relatives will make up teams and come along on the night for what should be an enjoyable evening for all. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR FOOTBALL CLUB Last week saw CK Basildon Ladies first team defeat Braintree Ladies 3-0 to reach the last four of their county cup. In the semi-final they have been drawn at home versus WESTHAM UNITED LADIES. This game is scheduled to be played at the Selex Sports ground on Sunday 19 February 2012 ko 1.30pm. In what is likely to be a difficult fixture against opponents who are the current holders of this competition , I am sure any support on the day would be welcomed. All members are reminded that club have a website, address being www.BasildonTownfc.co.uk which will be updated on a regular basis throughout the season to include fixtures, results and hopefully photos for all Towns adult and youth teams together with general news about the club Players of a good standard for both First and Reserve sides.
