With Southminster St. Leonards match at Herongate called off, Debden Sports knew that victory at home to bottom club Basildon Town would put them on top of the table. Win they did in some style as goals by Danny Keen, Ian Allen, Dave Binder and the days top scorer Nicky McGlinchey with four gave their team a 7 – 0 victory.
